Stocks worth focusing on in this week’s Global Laggards:

U.S.

Cimpress ( CMPR ) –  Capital Equipment ( $4B market cap ) –  an online provider of custom printing and graphic design services, with a focus on individuals and small/medium businesses. The company’s most well-recognized brand is Vistaprint. Cimpress has 20 localized websites serving North America, Europe, and APAC.

The company’s core Vistaprint brand faces an increasingly competitive environment and requires extensive marketing to maintain its double-digit growth rate. As such, we believe margins will remain under pressure for the foreseeable future.

The shrinking demand for business cards (a key customer acquisition tool for Vistaprint) represents a meaningful headwind. More broadly, the commercial printing industry is in secular decline.

Cimpress has missed consensus estimates for six out of the last seven quarters.

The stock recently fell below its 50- and 200-DMA, and has declined in each of the past six sessions. On October 2, it breached its YTD low that it had previously setin May.The stock‘s RS line has been declining since March, with a current RS Rating of 55 (poor), while its weak A/D Rating indicates ongoing distribution.
